With a focus on joint replacement surgeries we have driven towards high quality, patient-centric orthopedic unit.

DEPARTMENT OF ARTHROSCOPY

Knee Arthroscopy, Shoulder Arthroscopy, Hip Arthroscopy, Ankle, Elbow Arthroscopy, Complex Ligament Reconstruction, Sports Injury Management are done in operation theatres which follow international standards in aseptic precautions. Arthroscopy can save the patient from open surgery leading to less chance of infection and faster recovery. This is supported by well equipped Physiotherapy Unit and Nutrition Clinic.

DEPARTMENT OF JOINT REPLACEMENT

Hip and Knee replacement surgeries are conducted regularly with use of high quality implants. For joint replacements there is a  specialized operation theater facility with laminar flow.

Paediatric Orthopedic Unit is the first such unit in the state dedicated to paediatric orthopedic patients, providing treatment for childhood bone problems like scoliosis, birth defects,  etc.

A children's orthopedic surgeon has completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics, which is an additional  specialty training after completion of basic orthopedic training. This advanced training is focused completely on the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic problems in children from birth to 18 years of age. Unlike fully-grown adults, children have growth plates, and their skeletons and muscles develop at a quicker rate. Pediatric orthopedists deal with fractures, musculoskeletal, congenital and growth-related problems that are unique to children such as growth plate injuries, scoliosis and birth defects.
It is important to find a pediatric orthopedic specialist who is qualified and understands your child and his or her unique condition.
As the parent of an injured child or teen, consider the fact that the most important decision you will make is who you choose as their orthopedic specialist. Your child will have to live with the outcome of your choice for the rest of their life. Your child is trusting you with his future. It is vital for you to learn how to find the best specialist for your child.
