Dr. Navin Tiwari, M.B.B.S, M.D., D.M. (Neurologist)

Dr. Navin Tiwari is a young Neurologist from Indore known for his skills and expertise in the management of Chronic Epilepsy, Migraine, Stroke and Infectious Neurology. Trained in MD (Medicine) and DM (Neurology), Dr. Tiwari’s areas of forte in his speciality field include Refractory Epilepsy, Neuro Physiology and Stroke Management.

Dr. Navin Tiwari acquired his grounding in Neurology under the tutelage of eminent faculty members of KGMU (Lucknow) - Prof. Devika Nag, Prof. Rakesh Shukla and Prof. R K Garg, each being a person of high stature and authority. He thereby received rigorous training in neurodiagnostic tests encompassing EEG, VEEG, NCS, Autonomic Function Tests, Trans-cranial Doppler Study together with Botulinum toxin injection therapy, a treatment involving a group of medications that temporarily paralyze muscle activity.

On the research front, Dr. Tiwari is associated with several international clinical trials as an investigator. In his role of an investigator, Dr. Tiwari diligently meets all research expectations in an ethical and fair manner. His publications that have featured in national and international journals cater to a wide audience. Propelled by a quest for knowledge, Dr. Tiwari regularly attends workshops and conferences in the field of Headache, Epilepsy, Movement Disorder and Stroke.

Dr. Tiwari states that Hypertension, Diabetes and Obesity are three diseases that make an individual prone to other life threatening diseases as well. He goes on to say that in the case of neurological problems such as a paralytic attack, a patient can be given effective treatment if he receives timely assistance and is rushed to hospital within 90 minutes of its occurence.
